The Radiochemistry and Nuclear Imaging Laboratory at CIC biomaGUNE is led by Dr. Jordi Llop

The activity of the Radiochemistry and Nuclear Imaging Laboratory focuses on (i) developing strategies to radiolabel small molecules, macromolecules and nanoparticles, characterise their pharmacokinetic properties, and evaluate their suitability as diagnostic and/or theranostic agents; and (ii) investigate biological processes underlying disease using in vivo imaging in the fields of oncology, neurology, pneumology, infection and cardiovascular diseases.
