The research assistant will help in the experimental work developed in the laboratory; microbial fermentation, protein expression, DNA purification, and protocols of molecular biology. Experience in chromatography methods is also desired to analyze enzyme reactions. Although the major dedication of this position is to support other lab members, 50% of the work time will be devoted to developing an individual project directly supervised by the PI of the group. This individual project aims to set the foundation of a PhD thesis that the research assistant could develop depending on the funding availability.
A technical or university degree related to laboratory work is required. Master degree is desired because the 1-year contract can be transformed in a PhD thesis contract depending on the performance.
Training contract for obtaining professional practice. Estimated duration: 12 months.
