Relocation & Visa Assistance: CIC biomaGUNE offers support to ease the integration of new members into the organization, and additional assistance is provided to foreigners in obtaining work visas and permits, as well as in settling in San Sebastián.

Working conditions: Employment contracts are in accordance with current Spanish labour legislation. The contracts offer a comprehensive range of benefits, including access to public healthcare coverage, parental or sick leave, retirement benefits, family benefits, unemployment benefits, and flexible working hours. Additionally, Gipuzkoa County provides a special tax regime for researchers who have not resided in Spain in the last 5 years, allowing for exemptions exemption from taxes on 15% of their income during 5 years, and relocation, and housing rentals expenses deductions. This special tax regime is applicable annually during the income tax return filing.

CIC biomaGUNE counts with a Lactation Room. This space has been adapted so that breastfeeding mothers can express and store their milk properly during the working day. This initiative aims to support and facilitate the efforts of breastfeeding mothers, promoting the continuation of breastfeeding for those who choose to do so.

Summer, Christmas and Eastern Camps

Eureka Science Museum, is an interactive museum in which the information is attractively presented with a fresh style of communication through a hands-on approach and experiments. It offers 10% discount on children's camps offered during school holidays (summer, Christmas and Eastern). You just need to indicate you are a CIC biomaGUNE employee.
