A microfluidic device comprising: a substrate and a light source. The substrate
comprises one or more inlet channels, a mixing channel, a first chamber, a capture
antibody immobilized on the substrate in the first chamber; a second chamber wherein
the second chamber comprises two or more electrodes, and an outlet channel. The
light source irradiates the two or more electrodes of the second chamber. A method to detect the presence of an antigen of a fluid sample using an enzyme-linked
immunosorbent assay is provided.
