Artificial Intelligence and its use and application on the basis of foundational and generative models bring multiple development possibilities to Organisations, which can explore new functionalities and tools to support and boost their usual activity, for example, in the field of research. However, these models present specific risks and challenges which, together with the aforementioned opportunities, must be analysed and addressed in an appropriate manner in order to reduce the possible materialisation of important legal risks such as intellectual property, privacy, industrial property, among many others. During the one-hour session, the various risks and opportunities will be presented in relation to the main regulatory challenges posed by its use, and some practical recommendations will be made for the responsible and reliable use of this emerging technology, mitigating, as far as possible, the aforementioned legal risks.
