Description

The Nuclear Imaging platform offers state-of-the-art imaging resources for Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Single Photon Emission Computerized Tomography (SPECT), and Computerized Tomography (CT). It is equipped with a dedicated small animal hybrid PET-CT system (GE Explore Vista-CT) and a modular trimodal Molecubes system comprising two PET scanners, one SPECT, and a CT. These systems enable the performance of in vivo multimodal studies on the same subject, facilitating comprehensive, non-invasive approaches to biological, physiological, and medical research by obtaining images with significant functional and anatomical information.
Additionally, the platform features three dedicated workstations with multiple PMOD software licenses and a 32 TB data storage system, enabling simultaneous image reconstruction, advanced data processing, quantitative analysis, and secure archiving. For end-point, high-resolution nuclear imaging, the platform also includes an autoradiography system (Amersham Typhoon biomolecular imager).
