We are pleased to announce that Ainhoa Maiz Iginitz successfully defended her PhD thesis, “Integrated chemoenzymatic approaches for the design and transformation of enantiopure monomers into stereoregular PHA-like polyesters,” on October 31st under the supervision of Prof. Haritz Sardon Muguruza (POLYMAT) and Prof. Fernando Lopez Gallego (CIC biomaGUNE).

Her thesis defense was evaluated by a distinguished committee composed of Prof. María Auxiliadora Prieto (CSIC) as President, Prof. Agustin Etxeberria (EHU) as Secretary, and Dr. Alessandro Pellis (University of Genoa) as Member.
