Ventipet, a pioneering health project developed at CIC biomaGUNE, has been selected as a finalist in the Healthcare Cohort of the EIT Jumpstarter 2025 programme. This achievement places Ventipet among the top six projects in its category and highlights its potential to transform medical diagnostics.
This highly competitive pre-acceleration initiative aims to guide researchers in transforming their innovative ideas into viable startups.
Ventipet is a groundbreaking health project led by researchers Ander Sáenz Antoñanzas and Aitana Nácher. The project is based on an innovative medical diagnostic technology developed by the Radiochemistry and Nuclear Imaging research group at CIC biomaGUNE, under the leadership of Dr. Jordi Llop, designed to visualize regional lung ventilation.
We are proud to have Ventipet representing Spain as one of only three Spanish projects across all cohorts to reach the Grand Final in Budapest, which will take place on 25th November.
This achievement underscores the exceptional talent and innovation emerging from our research community.
