Prof. Luis M. Liz-Marzán, Principal Investigator of the Bionanoplasmonics group, was formally admitted into the prestigious National Academy of Engineering (NAE) in a ceremony that took place in Washington D.C. on October 1. Liz-Marzán's groundbreaking contributions to the field of nanotechnology and material science have solidified his position as a leader in the global scientific community. The NAE honors those who have made significant contributions to engineering research, practice, or education.  Prof. Liz-Marzán's admission recognizes not only his innovative research but also his commitment to advancing the world of engineering.
