Jordi Llop, Group Leader of the Radiochemistry & Nuclear Imaging group at CIC biomaGUNE, has been appointed as the Vice President of the European Society for Molecular Imaging (ESMI). The announcement was made at the ESMI's recent annual meeting.

Jordi Llop is a leading expert in the field of molecular imaging and has been actively involved in ESMI for several years. He has served on various committees and played a key role in organizing the society's annual meeting.

In his new role as Vice President, Jordi Llop will work closely with the newly appointed President, Fabian Kiessling, to advance the goals of the society and promote the field of molecular imaging across Europe. Fabian Kiessling, a professor of radiology at the University of Aachen, will take over from the current President, Michael Neeman.
