What does milk or tomato look like on a small scale? Researchers from CIC biomaGUNE have tried to capture the complexity of each day's meals through photographs taken under a microscope. The project "Mikro Food", food under the microscope is born from an idea of Dr. Patrizia Andreozzi.

From food to art, from art to science: a seemingly impracticable path that "Mikro Food" has traveled through food to reveal a beauty that we cannot see with the naked eye and that leads us to a tiny and fascinating world.
