Maurizio Prato, group leader at CIC biomaGUNE and Ikerbasque Professor, received on June 28th an "Honoris Causa" doctoral degree from the University of Castilla-La Mancha. Prof. Prato has been regognized worldwide for his contributions to the science and applications of carbon nanostructures and mentored several researchers who are currently professors at UCLM.

La Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) ha investido doctor ‘honoris causa’ al investigador de CIC biomaGUNE y Profesor Ikerbasque, Maurizio Prato. El Prof. Prato ha destacado a nivel mundial por sus contribuciones a la ciencia y aplicaciones de las nanoestructuras de carbono. La ceremonia de investidura se celebró el pasado 28 de junio en Toledo bajo la presidencia del rector de la UCLM.
