Researcher Ralf Richter obtained the ERC Starting Grant, the most prestigious project development support for up-and-coming European researchers (€1.5 M).
The grant will finance a research project designed to unravel the function of biomolecular hydrogels, which play a key role in many biological processes.
The award of this grant to Biomagune brings an opportunity to boost the creation of a promising research field in the Basque Country and it also represents an international recognition for the research work developed in this centre.
