Description

This reserach lines  aims to revolutionize technological  fields by designing functional biomaterials based on proteins. This approach involves a multidisciplinary approaches merging protein chemistry, synthetic biology, chemical tools, materiasl science and computational models. Engineered proteins are implemented in functional biomaterial and devices enabling novel protein-based green and biocoampatible solutions to current technological problems in electronics, catalysis,  lighting, and energy among others.
